The 5th International Forum "Anti-Counterfeit-2017" was held in Bishkek

The International Forum "Anti-Counterfeit" was held for the fifth time in the capital of Kyrgyzstan from September 14 to September 16, 2017. This year the key topic of the event was the solution of topical issues and increasing the effectiveness of cooperation between the countries that are members of the Eurasian Economic Union in the fight against counterfeit and falsified products in various industries. Over 500 experts from the EEA member countries and foreign countries took part in the forum.

During the work of 11 thematic sections and three roundtables, the problems of antimonopoly control in cross-border markets, food security, countering the illegal turnover of industrial products in the automotive industry, and the pharmaceutical industry were considered.

Within the framework of the Forum, AGT agency carried out comprehensive communication support and international information support for the event.

NOTE ABOUT THE FORUM

The initiator of the International Forum "Anti-Counterfeit" in 2012 was the Government of the Russian Federation. The Eurasian Economic Commission (ECE) is one of the key organizers of the event.

Since its establishment, the forum has become the largest international platform for constructive dialogue between representatives of government, business, science, rights holders, producers, authors and the public. Here, proposals are being developed to improve the effectiveness of combating the proliferation of counterfeit products, protecting intellectual property rights and creating a civilized market for goods and services, especially in the member states of the EAEC.

In 2017, the International Forum Anti-Counterfeit took place for the fifth time in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. Its organizers were the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the International Association of Anti-Counterfeiting Organizations. Previous forums were held in Moscow, Astana, Minsk and Yerevan.
